What measures have we taken?

General information and organisation

These will point out our Covid-19 guidelines at the entrances to transport facilities, mountain restaurants in the Nauders ski resort and the sport shop and ski depot at the Nauders Cable Car Centre. Furthermore, we will regularly provide you with information in several languages by means of announcements in feeder lift entrance areas and ticket sales offices.

Regardless of the current legal regulations, we will organise queueing areas technically in a way that avoids groups of people standing together where possible.

We have installed adequate hand disinfection facilities at our cable car facilities and mountain restaurants in the Nauders ski resort.

By registering via the myVisitPass of the company fertael, we would like to create a simple and secure way to contain the coronavirus. Contact persons can be tracked and contacted directly by the authorities. For restaurants, guest registration is obligatory according to the latest regulation. Other businesses, such as stores or mountain railroads, can carry out guest registration voluntarily. We summarized all informations about the myVisitPass for your holiday in Nauders at the Reschenpass.

Mountain lifts

We will disinfect the Bergkastelseilbahn cable car several times a day. To do so, we deploy a long-lasting, floating mist of droplets using a special cold fogging device. This eliminates 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and spores on the treated surfaces within one minute. The active ingredient leaves no residue behind after use, is 100% biodegradable, non-toxic, pH neutral and not harmful to the skin or eyes.

Disinfection measures on surfaces and in rooms are also carried out daily in the sport shop and at Nauders Cable Car Centre, the first aid stations/ medical port and also in toilet facilities and lift cabins at the Bergkastel. We also use the aforementioned cold fogging machines for this purpose.

To offer you the usual comfort and a high level on safety for the ascent to the Bergkastel, Schöneben & Haideralm, you have the possibility to use the 6-place cable cars with the maximum of 3 persons (50% of the capacity) for foreign persons.

Our staff

Staff at the cable cars Nauders, mountain restaurants Nauders, Schöneben AG, etc. are tested for Covid-19 before starting work for the first time. Follow up tests are carried out on specific occasions for those in contact with customers; ongoing testing is possible.

Staff at Nauders at the Reschenpass who comes into contact with guests (restaurants, cable car, rescue areas) are instructed to wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth.

The Tyrolean Oberland Tourism Association and Nauders mountain lifts as well as other companies have trained coronavirus representatives who ensure that the current regulations are regularly and immediately implemented.
People with health issues can contact cable car company staff at any time. We have several trained coronavirus representatives.

Mountain restaurants in Nauders at the Reschenpass, Schöneben &Haideralm

We observe the minimum distancing prescribed by the authorities for tables and seating facilities in mountain restaurants. Furthermore, we have installed new partitions in the seating areas and adapted and expanded hygiene measures in the free flow areas.

In order to guarantee compliance with adequate safe distancing, we will – regardless of capacity – also limit entry to our mountain restaurant facilities.

All our food and drink menus can be viewed online or using a QR code directly in the mountain restaurants and feeder cable car cabins.

Nauderer Bergbahnen AG and Schöneben AG is specifically stepping up a range of cleaning activities. For example, this applies to cleaning and disinfecting tables/mountain restaurants as well as handrails, door handles and sanitary facilities. We have also shorted the intervals for filter cleaning in the ventilation systems.
